Digital Age
REVOLUTION IN THE MARKET
A warm greeting to all our readers. Hoping that you are all in good health, we introduce you the second entry of this blog.
The covid-19 pandemic is the current global theme, as it is the single most important-event of the 21st century, as it has marked a before and after in social, economic, and cultural aspects of many countries. Some of the aspects that have evolved rapidly due to this emergency are related to the need for health products and services. Consequently, different means for product demand and for service provision have evolved, seeking to meet the current market needs.
Although the market has been preparing for the digital age for the last recent years, it is now an immediate necessity not to be left behind.
Some of the consequences in the industry for not joining the digital age are: losing market positioning, decreasing sales or, definitely, closing or going broke.
To avoid this, digital marketing, offering your products and / or services in ecommerce platforms, being active on different social networks and the creation of official websites became essential to “exist” in this transformation that the industry is presenting.
In terms of market value, the e-commerce universe in Mexico has increased significantly for the last decade. The most recent study of the MX Internet Association, entitled Study of Electronic Commerce in Mexico 2019, notes that the health market accounts for 15% of the country’s total digital purchases, 8% more than in 2018, which speaks of a growing market that supports the country’s economic growth.
With the correct management of virtual tools, you can generate a competitive advantage, increased sales, cost reduction and greater positioning using the right strategy.
With this new digital reality, rules and regulations have become more relevant to regulating what is posted on networks, what is sold on websites, what is advertised, and the message you are looking to convey to your target market.
