What is an Import Permit?

Official document, physical or electronic, issued by COFEPRIS granting authorization to bring your product to Mexico for a certain period of time or for a certain amount of product.

In which situations do you require an Import Permit?

If you want to import to Mexico any of the following products:

• Food.
• Food supplements.
• Non-alcoholic beverages.
• Tobacco products.
• Medicines.
• Medical devices (some cases).
• Pesticides and plant nutrients.
